THE HAIR TRANSPLANT & BEYOND
Follicular Unit Extraction, or FUE, involves removing healthy hair follicles directly from a donor area on the scalp (usually the sides and the back of the head where the hair is plentiful) and implanting them into the recipient area.
Quite honestly, FUE is not rocket science. However, Picasso was not a rocket scientist either. It’s what you make of the grafts available that counts.
– It’s vital that the surgeon and the team understand how to store the grafts to prevent them from trauma and low growth.
– It’s vital that the grafts are used correctly to maximise the coverage and the cosmetic impact.
– Further, it’s important that the hair transplant looks like your own natural, un-transplanted hair.
While hair transplantation is not rocket science it does require a great understanding of hair, hair growth, natural hair patterns, limitations and possibilities with the available number of grafts.

NOTHING BEATS EXPERIENCE
Dr. Mohammad Mazhar Hussain started MY HAIR CLINIC in 2004, offering high quality FUE hair transplantation. Back then FUE was very much in it’s infancy and many experienced strip-surgeons claimed it was not a viable option for hair transplantation. Many of these surgeons and doctors today claim they are pioneers of the FUE method. A claim that can easily be dismissed from old posts in online forums.
The first years where uphill because of the great resistance in the hair transplant community. But Dr Hussain was getting the results that changed the lives of his patients. These results were essential for his insistence on only doing FUE while some other FUE surgeons eventually opted to offer both.
Dr Hussain was among the first five hair transplant surgeons to exclusively offer FUE and today his stands vindicated as even many hard core opponents of FUE have transitioned to perform mostly FUE hair transplants.
WHO IS DR HUSSAIN?
DR HUSSAIN obtained his MD degree in 1994 from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark and has since worked in several European countries. Dr Hussain was an active politician and the first Pakistani to be elected as a member of the Copenhagen County Council in Denmark. Dr. Hussain is fluent in Danish, English, Norwegian, Punjabi, Urdu and Hindi.
Dr. Hussain personally trains or vets all staff to ensure a high and uniform standard of hair transplant surgery at all locations of MY HAIR CLINIC. He has also trained doctors in the FUE technique. Doctors for whom only the best teachers would be good enough.
